Our Mission

Thabaat is a community space building spiritual and social connections for young professionals in the Metro Detroit area.

Thabaat means firmness, constancy, and stability. It comes from the most repeated supplication of the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ): “Oh Turner of Hearts, keep our hearts firm upon Your path.”

We are dedicated to creating a welcoming environment for young professionals of all levels of faith and practice to find good company, engaging conversation, and a constant source of strength on their spiritual journeys.

Our efforts are under the guidance and mentorship of Miftaah Institute. Join us at the Miftaah Institute cafe and other upcoming locations for coffee, conversation, and community.
